About Liv G. Storla and Studio Storla

Liv has worked as an architect in Canada, Vietnam and Norway, often as the bridge between architecture and landscape. She also has a master's degree from Ireland in art and has had several exhibitions in Dublin. A common theme in her design and art for Studio Storla is nature centered narratives as well as the importance of community/social design and co-design/participatory design. The nature centrality also often comes through in her research of local folklore and myths. This summer she is publishing a book on ‘more than human narratives’, which is a collection of fictional short stories and illustrations called “The Hidden Green Stories”. Liv is currently residing between Oslo, Norway and the mountains of Hallingdal.
